1. Russian hockey player Timur Faizutdinov, 19, dies after being hit in head by puck

Timur Faizutdinov, only 19 years old, was playing a playoff game of hockey for his team, Dynamo St. Petersburg’s junior team, when he was hit in the head by a hockey puck. He was rushed to the hospital and made it for three days, but it ultimately was a fatal blow. His team will start games with a moment of silence to honor him.

2. Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg Headline Musical Lineup for Jake Paul-Ben Askren Fight

Justin Bieber and Snoop Dogg, among other musical celebrities, will perform before the boxing match between Jake Paul and Ben Askren on April 17. Triller Network is putting on the event and has put on a similar event before, creating a new type of event that mixes boxing and music that is very profitable. 3. Basketball players issue statement regarding NCAA protest

Basketball players set to play in the upcoming NCAA tournament are protesting the NCAA for more rights. The athletes are speaking up on social media with #NotNCAAProperty and joining the NCPA to fight against what they feel is unfair treatment. They still plan to compete.
